Ms. Tiffany Hughes is an Assistant Professor Master of Public Health Program, College of Graduate Studies since relocating to Arizona in Summer 2023. Her area of specialization is healthy aging where I focus on the two most feared outcomes among older adults – falls and dementia. She is passionate about researching falls and educating students and the community about fall prevention topics. She was involved in research projects involving fall risk assessments and evidence-based approaches to fall prevention at Youngstown State University. While there, she became involved with the Walk with a Doc program and was a member of the Ohio Older Adult Falls Prevention Coalition. As co-chairperson for the AFPC Education Committee, she is eager to lead the Walk with a Doc initiative across the state of Arizona and to carry out the mission of the education committee of the AFPC.
